Cate has been competing in Dock Dogs since she was one. She didn't want to jump off the dock into a pool for a long time, then at the end of the first year, we did Yorkville into a lake and suddenly she got it.
She took 1st place Novice at that event, qualifying for her first National Championships with that title. Her biggest jump to date is 18'10" and she got her Senior jumper title last year. She's only 21 inches at the withers, short for a Lab but her heart makes up for it. She also has her Speed Retrieve Turbo title. Cate also competes in flyball and agility. Peggy Zweber, Cate's owner and handler, is from Peoria, IL and is retired, which gives her more time to do things with her dogs.
